NGO Darpan: 31st October 2017 last date to update office bearer’s information

The NGO Darpan portal http://ngodarpan.gov.in is currently flashing the following message:

“All NGOs / VOs are requested to update office bearers information including PAN & Aadhaar Numbers of each by 31st October 2017.  All such accounts, in which office bearers information is not updated by due date, will be deactivated and Unique ID assigned will be marked as Invalid.”

We suggest all NGOs that are currently receiving government grants as also NGOs that have ‘prior permission’ or are registered under FCRA 2010 to ensure that they register on the NGO Darpan portal as early as possible and obtain the Unique ID.

Without this Unique ID, NGOs will not qualify for government grants nor will they be able to access any FCRA online facilities to make changes in online Form FC 6 or even upload their annual Accounts in Form FC 4.

Please ensure that under the tab/head “Member Details” you provide the name, designation (e.g. trustee, director, CEO, etc.) PAN, Aadhar number, Mobile number, e mail and provide the date from which this person had joined your NGO or is active in your NGO from.

Under member details one is required to provide details of at least three members and these need not be only your Board Members. These members could be other key functionaries or officers of your NGO.
