 LOKPAL UPDATE 26 July 2016

 

Yesterday (25th July 2016) at 4.00 pm, a high power delegation of members of the Parliament met the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi regarding the Lokpal Act. The PM assured the delegation that the due date for compliance under the act will be extended (probably by a year). Member of The Rajya Sabha, Mrs.Anu Aga too was part of this delegation.

In the meantime, many of us (including CAP) are ready with our writ petition which should be filed as soon as we hear further from government sources regarding extension of the date and other changes.
