those who think we are out of the woods where compliance under the Lokpal &
Lokayukta Act 2013 is concerned, take a look at the latest ‘Office Memorandum’
dated 29th July 2016
issued by Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Department of
Personnel and Training:
It states: “the last date for furnishing
of declaration/information/annual return as on 01.08.2014, 31.03.2015 and
31.03.2016 relating to assets and liabilities by public servants under section
44 of the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013 has been extended up to 31st December, 2016.
